José González is a Swedish songwriter and musician.
González was born in Sweden to Argentinean parents. In 2003, he released his debut album, Veneer, in Europe; the album was released on 6 September 2005 in the United States.
The song "Crosses", from González's Crosses EP and his later album Veneer, appeared on the finale of the second season of the popular American television comedy-drama The O.C.
