From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Tony Parkes (born Sheffield May 5, 1949) is the former assistant manager of Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Parkes regularly stood in as caretaker manager for the club, taking over from Bobby Saxton, Don Mackay, Ray Harford, Roy Hodgson, Brian Kidd and Graeme Souness.
Parkes was also a player for Blackburn for many years in a midfield position.
