Boaz Myhill (Full name Glyn Oliver Myhill), born in Modesto, California, on November 9, 1982 is a footballer (goalkeeper) with Hull City.

Born to an American father and an English mother from Shropshire, Boaz moved to England at the age of one and developed a talent for football at an early age. He joined Aston Villa at 12, and worked with Mark Bosnich, David James, Peter Schmeichel and Peter Enckelman at Villa Park, although he was never to make a first team appearance for the Premiership club.

He instead spent time on loan at Stoke City and Bristol City, again not making a first-team appearance, until he was loaned in November 2002 to Bradford City, where his less-than-ideal debut saw him let in 5 goals as Bradford were defeated 5-0 by Sheffield United at Valley Parade.

Later joining Macclesfield Town for a deal lasting 16 games, he got a taste for the lower Third Division football, before signing a contract for Hull City in December 2003.

Since signing for the Tigers, Boaz's progress has won over the Black and Amber Army as he quickly became Peter Taylor's first-choice 'keeper and played an key part in two back-to-back promotion seasons which took Hull up from the old Third Division to the Coca Cola Championship, missing only one league match in the 2004-5 season, a successful season which left City supporters relieved that his contract had been extended until the end of the 2006-7 season in December 2004.

Boaz has also made international appearances for the England Youth and England Under 20 teams.
