David May (born June 24, 1970) in Oldham was an English football player. He was a centre half who could also play at right-back.
May started his career with Blackburn Rovers and was sold to Manchester United in 1995. While May did not play a vast number of games with the club, he was a fan favourite for the way he lead the celebrations following United's UEFA Champions League victory in 1999 over Bayern Munich. May left the club after the 2004 season with 8 goals and played briefly in the lower leagues before retiring. He also played at Huddersfield for 45 minutes (December 1999 helping out his old team mate Steve "fooking ugly big nosed twat " Bruce but unfortunately for him and Huddersfield got injured and returned to Old Trafford.
