Aaron Lennon (born April 16, 1987 in Leeds) is a footballer playing for Tottenham Hotspur. He is a fleet footed attacking midfielder. He was formerly at Leeds United, where on his debut he was the youngest player ever to appear in the FA Premier League at the age of 16 years 129 days. He made a £1m move to Spurs in early June 2005 as continued financial distress at Leeds combined with Tottenham's desire to sign the best of young British talent.
He was named to the England Under-21 team for the first time in October 2005.
