From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Rob Hulse (born 25 October 1979 in Crewe, England) is a professional footballer who began his career at his home town club of Crewe Alexandra. He is a centre forward.
He moved on to West Bromwich Albion where he played a key role in the Baggies promotion campaign scoring ten times in 29 appearances
In 2004, Hulse signed with Leeds United on loan. To say Rob's debut was spectacular is an understatement. Healy put Leeds 1-0 at home against high-flyers Reading when Rob came along in the second half to steal the show with two individual goals struck from outside the box. He was booked in Leeds' abysmal defeat at Wigan Athletic the following week but returned to goal scoring form in his third match for the Whites, this time against West Ham United, with a another brillant goal; a full volley after great work from Aaron Lennon.
Hulse has since joined Leeds United on a permanent deal and is in competition with several good forwards including Robbie Blake, David Healy and Richard Cresswell for a place in the side.
