Steve Guppy (born March 29, 1969 in Winchester, Hampshire) is an English football (soccer) left midfielder, who last played for D.C. United of Major League Soccer.
Guppy had a long career in the United Kingdom, where he played for Wycombe Wanderers (1989-94 and 2004), Newcastle United (1994), Port Vale (1994-97), Leicester City (1997-2001 and 2004), Celtic (2001-04), Leeds United (2004), and Stoke City (2004). His stint with DC United was not memorable, as he was released by the club after playing in just five league games.
Guppy has been capped for England once, on October 10, 1999 against Belgium. He gained League Cup honours with Leicester City and won the Scottish Premier League, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup with Celtic.
