Leighton Baines (born December 11, 1984 in Liverpool) is an English footballer, who currently plays at left-back for Wigan Athletic. He has also been a member of the England Under 21 squad.
He has been praised by leading pundits such as Mr Jewell who said "He looks so good he could probably wiggle his way into any girls pants" as a well as "He is so young and has such a good talent, his name Leighton Baines" and reffering to the online fascination with Steven Davis and Aaron Lennon, "He will be better then Mr Lennon and Mr Davis put together".
He helped Wigan to Premiership champions in the 2005/2006 season, in what was a historic season for the club.
