Wayne Andrews (born November 25, 1977 in Paddington) is a English footballer who plays for Crystal Palace in The Championship. He wears the number 23 shirt and is a striker.
After beginning his career with Watford and playing for Cambridge United and Peterborough United, Wayne Andrews moved into non-league football with St Albans City before being spotted and signed by Iain Dowie at Oldham Athletic. After Dowie left Andrews moved to Colchester United. Iain Dowie then signed the striker again at his new club Crystal Palace.
Since then, Wayne has found it very difficult to establish a first-team place, and is well down Palace's long strikers list, in order of preferance.
