From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Charles Gray is also the name of the British justice who presided over David Irving's lawsuit against Deborah Lipstadt and Penguin Books.
Charles Gray (August 29, 1928 - March 7, 2000) was a British actor, born in Bournemouth, Dorset.
He appears as Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the James Bond movie Diamonds Are Forever (1971). (In the earlier You Only Live Twice (1967), he plays a British agent, Henderson, making him one of a small number of actors to have played a villain and a Bond ally in the series.)
To many younger movie fans, he is best known for portraying The Criminologist (the narrator) in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and a similar character, Judge Oliver Wright, in its 1981 sequel Shock Treatment.
He was Mycroft Holmes to Jeremy Brett's Sherlock in the Granada TV version of the stories.
