Oteil Burbidge is a bass guitarist. He was formerly a member of Aquarium Rescue Unit and currently is a member of The Allman Brothers Band. He has worked with Bruce Hampton, Trey Anastasio, God Street Wine, and others.
He is releasing a new album entitled Believer on August 1st, 2005. His homepage is located at http://www.oteilburbridge.com.
Burbridge also had a bit part, as a teenager, as a street thug in the 1979 movie Being There; although it's a short scene, it is arguably one of the film's most famous moments.
