Bernard Fanning (born 15 August 1969) is the lead vocalist of Australian band Powderfinger.
Powderfinger has released five albums and a double CD live album. After the band released their best of album, "Fingerprints" in 2004, they decided to take a break. Fanning is taking time to work on his solo album said to be released in October, called "Tea and Sympathy". However, Powderfinger have said they will return with a new album in 2006.
