From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Brian Easdale (10 August 1909 - 1995) was a composer born in Manchester, England. His works include the operas Rapunzel (1927), The Corn King (1935, not released until 1950) and The Sleeping Children (1951). He was well-known for his orchestral works (Five pieces for Orchestra, Six Poems, Tone Poem) and also composed film and theatre music.
He was educated at Westminster Abbey School and the Royal College of Music.
