From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Trevor Griffiths (b. 1935) is a British writer.
Born in Manchester, he was originally a teacher but moved to full time writing in 1970. He has written plays for stage and TV, perhaps most famously Comedians(1975). The films he has written include Reds (1981) (cowritten with Warren Beatty and others) and Fatherland, directed by Ken Loach.
