Matthew Goode (born April 3, 1978) is a British actor best know for his role as Ben in the movie Chasing Liberty.
Goode was born in Exeter, England, and studied drama at the University of Birmingham, and classical theater at London's Webber Douglas Academy of Performing Arts.
Before landing his biggest role in Chasing Liberty, Goode had played the lead in the BBC production Inspector Lynley Mysteries, and had parts in the TV-movie Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, and the Shakespearean stage play The Tempest.
