From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Herbert Jackson Youngblood III (born January 26, 1950, Jacksonville, Florida) is a former American football defensive end who played for the Los Angeles Rams. He was drafted out of the University of Florida by the Rams in the first round (20th pick overall) of the 1971 NFL Draft; he was chosen as an All-Pro five times during his 14 years with the team and was All-NFC seven times. He is most famous for playing the entire 1979 playoffs with a fractured left fibula. He played in 201 consecutive games, a Rams team record. He played in seven straight Pro Bowls.
He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
