Gustav Meyrink (January 19, 1868 - December 4, 1932) was an Austrian author, storyteller, dramatist, translator, banker and Buddhist. He was born in Vienna, Austria-Hungary (now Austria) and died in Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany.
