From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Dan Forden is a game programmer and the lead on several high-profile arcade games. The most notable series he worked on is probably the Mortal Kombat series of games.
Forden is best known for an easter egg in the games, first appearing in Mortal Kombat II, whereby Forden's head would appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen and shout "Toasty!" when a perfect uppercut was performed. Certain events, usually involving Sub-Zero, would make him appear and shout "Frosty!".
He is credited in the Mortal Kombat games as Dan "Toasty" Forden.
