Jim Holt (1965-) is an conservative Republican politician from Arkansas. Born in Camden, Arkansas, he graduated from the University of Maryland College Park and served in the Arkansas House from 2000-2002 and the Arkansas Senate from 2002-2004. He ran against Blanche Lincoln for United States Senate in 2004 unsuccessfuly. In 2005 he announced his candidacy for the office of Lieutenant Governor of the state of Arkansas.
