From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Roy Laidlaw (born October 5, 1953) is a Scottish Rugby Union player.
Laidlow has capped 47 times for Scotland between 1980 - 1988, and British Lions in New Zealand in 1983.
He is one of several Scottish scrum halves that include Gary Armstrong, Alan Lawson, Bryan Redpath, Andy Nicol, Mike Blair and Chris Cusiter.
