Lauren Koslow (born 9 March 1953) is a soap opera actress best known for her roles on the popular daytime dramas Days of Our Lives as Kate Roberts since 1996 and The Bold and the Beautiful, originating the role of Margo Lynley from 1987 to 1992.
As Kate Roberts, she is renowned for her villiany and lies, specifically her ongoing wars with fellow Salemites Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), the daughter of her late husband, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zuker), the widowed wife of her late ex husband Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Other roles include those in various theatre productions, such as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Dial M for Murder, as well as the role of Madame Sophia Hamilton in Zork: Nemesis.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Koslow's mother was a docent, and was raised with a strong love for colonial life, something that has not left her, even after moving to California. She currently resides on her ranch in Northridge, California with her husband Nick Schillace, and two children, Zack and Millikate, and an ever-increasing menagerie of animals, including a macaw, a gift from Tori Spelling.
