From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia
Boris Kodjoe, (born March 8, 1973 in Vienna, Austria) is a multilingual model and actor. His mother was a psycologist from Germany and his father a physician from Ghana. Fluent in German, French, English and Spanish, Kodjoe aspired to be a professional tennis player. A back injury ended his tennis aspirations; however, he was quickly discovered for modeling and soon after fell into acting. Named one of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" by People Magazine in 2002, Kodjoe starred in the short-lived sitcom Second Time Around (2004-2005) with wife Nicole Ari Parker. He played the role of David Taylor, the wayward son of Pastor Fred Taylor in the October 2005 film The Gospel.
