Stuart McGugan is a Scottish actor, born 2 March 1944, in Stirling, Scotland. He is probably best known for playing Gunner 'Atlas' Mackintosh in the BBC sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum. He was first seen on television as a presenter on BBC's Play School in 1964, and most recently in Family Affairs in 1997 as the character Derek Simpson.
