Matthew Twining (born September 23, 1981 in La Jolla, California) is an American actor.
When he was younger he lived in Italy with a group of traveling gypsies and speaks fluent Italian.
He got his start in acting working a two of David DeCoteau's homoerotic horror films. The first in a lead role in the film The Frightening(2002) and the second in a supporting role in the film Leeches!(2003).
Twining is best known for playing River Carpenter on the daytime soap opera One Life to Live from 2003 until 2004.
He plays Piano and Guitar, as well as singing lead vocals in his band
