Georgia Engel (born July 28, 1948) is an American film and television actress. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii. Television viewers know her best as Georgette Franklin from Mary Tyler Moore, which Engel played from 1973 to 1977. The role got her an Emmy nomination.
Engel also had recurring roles on TV sitcoms Coach and Everybody Loves Raymond.
