Ray Rayner (d. January 21, 2004) was a staple of Chicago children's morning television in the 1960s and 1970s on WGN-TV's Ray Rayner and His Friends. His program would run old cartoons, and in-between he would make arts-and-crafts and talk with animals both real (Chelveston the duck) and puppet (Cuddly Dudley, the stuffed dog). He would also run traffic reports from sister-station WGN Radio while showing stock footage of traffic moving along the interstates.
Rayner was also part of WGN-TV's famous Bozo's Circus show as Oliver O. Oliver. He later moved to a CBS affiliate in Albuquerque, New Mexico before retiring from television.
He died from of complications from pneumonia in Fort Myers, Florida at the age of 84.
