From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Rebecca June Cartwright (born July 23, 1983), also known as Bec Cartwright, is an Australian actress. She played Hayley Lawson on the television series Home and Away until August 2005, with Ella Scott Lynch taking over the role. She is also a singer, having chart hits in Australia such as "All Seats Taken" (which appeared in the Top 10 of the Aria Charts), "On The Borderline" and "A Matter Of Time" (both of which appeared in the Top 30) and released a self titled album, Bec Cartwright. Having taken up dancing since she was three years old, she won the first series of the television competition Dancing With The Stars in 2004.
Bec accepted engagement to the former World No. One Australian professional tennis player Lleyton Hewitt in early 2005, after dating each other for just six weeks. On 5 May 2005, it was announced that Bec and Lleyton were expecting their first child; the baby is due to be born in October. Her marriage to Lleyton on 21 July 2005 was shrouded in secrecy, including reports that guests were not permitted to take or utilise cameras (or mobile phones with camera capabilities) during the event, as well as being required to sign confidentiality agreements regarding the details. Despite this, much media attention was given to the event on the day, as it was held at the very public, and rumoured venue, of the world famous icon, Sydney Opera House, followed by a reception at Taronga Zoo.
Cartwright has also been voted FHM's sexiest woman in Australia.
