Dolph Sweet (July 18, 1920 - May 8, 1985) was an American actor, best known for his roles as Gil McGowan on the soap opera Another World (1972-1977) and as Carl Kanisky on the sitcom Gimme a Break! (1981 until his death in 1985). He died of cancer. Also he appeared on an episode of "Dark Shadows" in 1966.
