Jack Conway is an attorney in Louisville, Kentucky. Conway served important roles in the administration of Governor of Kentucky Paul E. Patton and was a key advisor to the governor. In 2002 Conway was the Democratic nominee for Kentucky's Third Congressional District seat in the United States House of Representatives. Conway lost a close race to the incumbent, Anne Northup. In 2005 the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) actively recruited Conway to run a rematch with Northup. As of October 2005 Conway had made no public pronouncement about whether he would seek the seat again.
