Diane Kruger (born July 15, 1976 near Hildesheim, Germany) is a German model and actress. She started her career as a dancer in London when she was still young, but after an injury she changed her mind and went to Paris to become a model at the age of 15. After a while Diane became interested in acting and soon landed small appearances. She then changed her last name from the original 'Heidkrüger' to 'Kruger' to support her Hollywood career. Since 2001, Diane has been married to French actor Guillaume Canet.
She is best known for portraying Helen in the movie Troy.
