From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Philippe Druillet (born June 28, 1944) is a French comic book artist and writer.
He was born in Toulouse. His first book appeared in 1966. Entitled Le Mystère des abîmes, it introduced his recurring hero Lone Sloane and his science-fiction themes.
Working in the magazine Pilote, he pursued the saga of Lone Sloane in a style which grew steadily more flamboyant, innovating with bold page designs and introducing computer-generated images into his pictures.

Other than his activities as a cartoonist and illustrator, he is also interested in Rock Opera, painting, sculpture and Digital Art.
