Mick Fleetwood (born June 24, 1947, and standing 6'5", or 1,96 m), is a musician best known for his role as drummer with the rock band Fleetwood Mac. He has also had an 'on/off' career as an actor, usually in minor parts, and perhaps most memorably as a resistance leader in The Running Man. Fleetwood also had the misfortune to act as co-host of the 1988 "Brit Awards", often cited as one of the worst programmes in the history of British Television.
He is the author of Fleetwood, his memoir of life with and without Fleetwood Mac, published in 1990. (Included in the book are his experiences with other musicians, including Eric Clapton, members of the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin.)
His sister was the late actress Susan Fleetwood.
