Jack Perkins has been dubbed "America's most literate correspondent" by the Associated Press. He is a reporter, commentator, war correspondent, and anchorman. He has appeared on NBC's "Nightly News" and "The Today Show," and on A&E as host of "Biography". Perkins is a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000, on which he has been parodied several times (with series host and head writer Michael J. Nelson playing the part of Perkins)
