Simon Wright was the drummer for the Australian rock band AC/DC from 1983 to 1988. He replaced Phil Rudd, their drummer of seven years, and first appeared on "Fly On The Wall" (1983). He in turn was replaced by Chris Slade, following the recording of "Blow Up Your Video" (1988). He is now the drummer for the band Dio.
