From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Leopoldo Lugones (13 June 1874 - 1938) was an Argentine writer and journalist.
Born in Villa de MarÃa del RÃo Seco, province of Córdoba, Argentina. Leopoldo worked for La Montaña, a newspaper, and was in favour of Manuel Quintana, a candidate to become a president of Argentina.
He went to Europe in 1906, 1911, 1913 and in 1930, he supported the coup d'état against the Radical president Hipólito Yrigoyen.
In 1938, he committed suicide in Argentina.
