The band has released two albums, 'Camino Palmero' (the album featuring the hit single 'Wherever You Will Go', as well as the less popular 'Adrienne', and 'Could It Be Any Harder'), and 'II' (which features the songs 'Our Lives', 'Things will go my way' and the new single 'Anything', which in the video, features new spouse, actress Jennifer Sky )
His father is the low-budget horror director Charles Band and as a kid, he hung around Demi Moore who was in his father's earlier films. His family owns a castle in Giove, Italy.
Alex's voice was used on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' after Leno called and he and Alex spoke over the phone. Alex was also featured on a single with legendary guitarist Carlos Santana titled "Why Don't You and I." He was asked by Santana after Chad Kroeger of Nickelback was unable to perform on the track. Alex is half-Jewish.
Alex has recently announced his plans to follow a solo career, putting The Calling on hiatus for a while.
