From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Jimmy McCulloch (born June 4, 1953 in Glasgow, died September 27, 1979 in London) was a Scottish musician most known for playing lead guitar in Paul McCartney's Wings from 1974 to 1977.
Prior to that, McCulloch had been a member of Thunderclap Newman (at the age of fifteen) and Stone the Crows.
McCulloch died of a heroin overdose in 1979. Ironically, he was the composer of the anti-drug song "Medicine Jar" on the Wings album Venus & Mars.
