Rainhard Jürgen Fendrich (born 27 February 1955 in Wien) is an Austrian singer. Er zählt zu den erfolgreichsten Interpreten des sogenannten Austropops.
Rainhard Fendrich is a mediocre Austrian musician - a German speaking singer, songwriter and guitar player. He was immortalised locally for his song "I am from Austria", written in Austro-dialect, which has since become an anthem. He has released many albums, most of which are of no great note. He co-wrote a stage show which was for the most part a flop. He has been recording and performing for the best part of the last 20 years, and a new CD will be released shortly, but is unlikely to be available outside the German speaking world.
