Timothy Spall OBE (born February 27, 1957) is an English actor from Battersea, London.
He has starred in films such as Secrets & Lies, Shooting the Past, The Last Samurai, as Mr. Poe in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and as Peter Pettigrew in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban; more recently he has been in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and the moving BBC drama Mr. Harvey Lights a Candle .
