Sarah Wynter is an Australian actress, best known for her role of Kate Warner on the television drama 24
She was born on February 15, 1973, in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Her grandmother, Joy Cummings, was the Lord Mayor of Newcastle; the first female Lord Mayor in Australia.
Wynter has also appeared in The 6th Day and had a recurring role in The Dead Zone. Her 2005 movie, Three Dollars, is the first she has made in Australia.
Wynter's next role will be in the 2006 NBC television series Windfall alongside Jason Gedrick and Luke Perry.
On August 20, 2005 Wynter married American magazine editor Dan Peres in Sydney, Australia.
