Hans Krankl (born February 14, 1953 in Vienna, Austria) is a former professional football player and was a centre-forward. Among the clubs he played for are Rapid Vienna and Barcelona. He is regarded by many as the greatest ever Austrian player.
Since retiring as a player, Krankl has worked as a football manager and coach. He was most recently employed by the Austrian national team, he was sacked on September 28, 2005 after Austria failed to qualify for the 2006 World Cup.
