Donna Hanover is an American actress and journalist. An author, she is the former First Lady of New York City. She was married to American politician and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani for many years, but they divorced in 2002. A graduate of Stanford University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Hanover worked in broadcast journalism for a number of years.

She was a radio and television journalist in Pennsylvania and Florida, before moving to New York in the 1980s with Giuliani. She was the lead anchor for the 10 PM newscast on WPIX channel 11 in New York during the 1980s, leaving that role during Giuliani's unsuccessful 1989 bid for mayor, then moving onto other projects.

In 1994, Hanover became First Lady of New York City. In this role, Hanover promoted various health and educational causes around the city and was active in the city's civic life. In addition to her duties as First Lady, Hanover was a features reporter for the local Fox affiliate and an anchor on the Food Network.

Hanover's marriage to Giuliani started to end following reports of his affairs with Christine Lategano and Judith Nathan. The two separated in 2000 and divorced shortly after he left office in 2002. They have two children.

Hanover remarried to her high school sweetheart. Her experience in reconnecting to her high school sweetheart led her to write a book "My Boyfriend's Back," which chronicles her and others reunions with first loves.
