From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Mikko Alanne is a Finnish-born screenwriter and film producer who founded Finngate Pictures with partner, actor and writer Ari Alanne.
A native of Finland, Mikko graduated summa cum laude from Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications with a degree in film production and sociology. He has written two screenplays for Academy Award-winning director Oliver Stone, Ghosts of My Lai and Empire. Mikko is currently adapting Steffan Postaer's novel The Last Generation for Touchstone Television and NBC.
Mikko's recent scripts include A Detective's Requiem, about the LAPD’s Rampart Scandal, for HBO, and the forensic anthropology drama The Body Farm for ABC and Touchstone Television. His previous screenplays include Blood of Saints for Revolution Studios, Roman Ritual and Shadows.
Mikko's documentary film work includes Voice of Dissent, about the Robert F. Kennedy assassination, and The History Channel's acclaimed History Undercover: Terror Strikes Moscow, about the 2002 Moscow theater hostage crisis.
