Louis Nowra (12 December 1950 - ) is a Melbourne-born Australian writer and playwright famous for such plays as Così, Byzantine Flowers and The Golden Age. He has also written three novels and one non-fiction work, as well as radio plays, screenplays and telemovies.
Currently he lives in Sydney.
He has been studied extensively by Veronica Kelly at the University of Queensland.
