Sarah Douglas (born December 12, 1952) is an English actress, most notable for playing strong villainessess in 1980s fantasy and science fiction movies.
Douglas was born in Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, and trained with the National Youth Theatre.
She is perhaps best known for playing "Ursa" in Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980). However, she also appeared as villainesses in Conan the Destroyer (1984) (as Queen Taramis) and more recently in the episode Deathwalker as Deathwalker/Jha'Dur in the first season of Babylon 5.
