Ian Joseph Somerhalder (born December 8, 1978 in Covington, Louisiana, USA) is an American actor and producer. He was a main cast member for the first season of the American television series Lost as the character Boone Carlyle. He is of Irish, French, English, and Native American descent.
He dated Nicky Hilton in 2003.
