Ryan Carnes (born December 6, 1982 in Pittsfield, Illinois) is an American actor.
Carnes is best known for his television roles. As well as being the 9th actor to portray Lucas Jones on the ABC soap opera General Hospital from July 2004 until September 2005, he appeared in several episodes of ABC's Desperate Housewives as Justin, the gay lover of Andrew Van De Kamp (Shawn Pyfrom), and gardener to Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria). Series creator Marc Cherry has said that he is considering bringing Justin back into the plot in the show's upcoming second season, but nothing has yet been confirmed.
After he left General Hospital he was replaced by Ben Hogestyn.
Carnes also starred in the 2005 film Eating Out, and is currently filming a movie called Surf School due out 2006.
Despite filming gay scenes in both Desperate Housewives and Eating Out, Carnes has confirmed on several occasions that he is, in fact, straight.
