John Saunders, is currently a journalist for ESPN and ABC. Before working for ESPN, he worked in Baltimore for WMAR and for City-TV in Toronto. At ESPN, he usually works on SportsCenter, college football for ABC, and is the host of The Sports Reporters.
Saunders came to ESPN in 1986 and worked on their ice hockey telecasts. He still does work for their Stanley Cup coverage.
Saunders was a 1976 graduate of the Western Michigan University.
