From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia Lee Loughnane (born October 21, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is a trumpet player best known for being one of the founders of the highly successful rock band Chicago. Loughnane studied music at DePaul University, where his high school band director was also the band director. His songwriting gem among lesser-known efforts for Chicago is the 1975 Top 10 hit, "Call On Me" (from Chicago VII). He also co-wrote the 1978 hit, "No Tell Lover" (from the Hot Streets album). In recent years, Loughnane has been Chicago's point man in the band's efforts to have all its albums/CDs remastered on the Rhino Records label, serving as co-producer and helping to select previously unreleased "bonus tracks."
