Lenka Peterson was born on October 16, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska as Betty Ann Peterson, whose name was later legally changed to Lenke Peterson
She is an actress of stage, film and TV. She was nominated for a 1985 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in Quilters. She guest starred in some of the first TV productions broadcast, such as the Hallmark Hall of Fame (1952), The Philco Television Playhouse (1955), and the Actor's Studio (1949 and 50).
She has also been a cast member of the TV series Young Dr. Malone, Search for Tomorrow, A Flame in the Wind, Another World, and Code of Vengeance.
Peterson is the mother of actors Glynnis O'Connor and Kevin J. O'Connor by her late husband, director Daniel O'Connor.
